In my private practice I specialize in supporting people around issues related to gender identity, sexual orientation, trauma, childhood abuse, and the mental health effects of gendered-based violence. I also provide clinical supervision and consultation for MSW level counsellors/therapists.
I am a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and have been providing counselling and psychotherapy to youth and adults for 35 years. I completed a Master’s of Social Work from Carleton University and a Ph.D in Social Work from the University of Toronto. I am also a full-time University professor at Wilfrid Laurier University.
